Qualifications:

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, business administration, communications or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Additional relevant work experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the formal education requirement.
- Professional HR Certifications of SHRM-SCP or SPHR preferred.

- Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Office and Excel.

Summary:
|
Plans, directs and coordinates the human resources activities of Missouri Farm Bureau Federation and its affiliated companies. Oversees the development of policies, procedures, and initiatives for all talent management strategies: recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, communication, compensation, benefits, employee relations and employee engagement. Develops and implements HR strategies and initiatives that support the organization’s overall objectives and promotes a positive work environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
- Partners with senior leadership to align HR initiatives with business goals to drive organizational success and foster continuous improvement.
- Provides guidance and expertise on HR matters to the President and executive team.
- Oversees all aspects of the talent acquisition process, including strategies, recruitment, selection, and onboarding of employees.
- Responsible for spearheading key HR initiatives to enhance overall employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Responsible for overseeing the development and execution of company training programs. Identifies and defines present and future training needs.
- Establishes and administers compensation programs to ensure equity within the organization; to maintain legal compliance with changing laws and regulations; and to address competitive forces within the labor market.
- Develops and oversees the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and feedback mechanisms.
- Designs, establishes, and oversees administration of a comprehensive employee benefit program including benefits such as retirement plans, group life, health, dental, vision, disability, leave, and educational assistance.
- Evaluates and modifies benefits programs and policies as necessary to attract and retain employees, to meet the needs of a changing workforce and to ensure legal compliance.
- Provides open communication and serves as a trusted advisor to management and employees on HR-related issues, including performance management, conflict resolution, and employee relations.
- Keeps abreast of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and takes necessary actions to ensure that policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.
- Investigates and resolves EEO, ADA, FMLA, FLSA and other employee complaints or inquires.
- Responds to or coordinates responses to EEOC complaints, lawsuits, etc. Represents organization at employee-related hearings, depositions, investigations, and arbitrations.
- Prepares and delivers reports and presentations to the Board of Directors, the corporate officers, staff, supervisors and employees. Also communicates and reports information to various regulatory bodies as required.
- Establishes annual objectives for the Human Resources departments and reviews performance to objectives.
